Kid’s Programming Language (KPL) was designed and developed based on the principle that programming is fun -
and that learning is best achieved when the learning material is fun, intuive and interactive.

KPL is currently available in English, Swedish and Polish, with more translations available soon.

How Actipro's Products Helped
KPL's IDE is the basis of the programmer's experience - and Actipro's SyntaxEditor is the basis of our IDE.
Nearly all the KPL usability features provided to the KPL programmer are the features provided by the SyntaxEditor control.
We were also very pleased with the ability to specify a custom language definition, as is needed for the KPL language.
We are making happy use of many of the features provided by the SyntaxEditor, and will be enabling more of these features as we move KPL forward.
We moved to the SyntaxEditor control from a competing editor control that I will not name -
but I will say that Actipro's control beat the competition easily on price, features, quality and customer service.
We could not be more pleased.
