and temporary way of exchanging data between people, typically consisting of short code snippets and screenshots.
This is especially useful for allowing several users to quickly debug code with each others help.

How Actipro's Products Helped
There are several pastebins on the web.
Only some of them have any sort of syntax highlighting at all.
Those that do are usually specific to only a couple of languages.
Actipro's CodeHighlighter has allowed PasteHere to provide a useful service to the programming community,
and to do it in a feature-rich way.
With CodeHighlighter's intuitive and scalable xml syntax definition model,
PasteHere.com supports a wide variety of different languages for highlighting that is being constantly expanded.
Part of my goal with PasteHere.com was to provide a Desktop addon solution to allow users to paste code,
screenshots, images, and other text right from their desktop without the need to actually visit a website.
This makes the process of sharing this information that much more quick and easy.
With SyntaxEditor, Actipro has allowed me to create an equally feature-rich desktop client
and reuse all of my syntax definition files for it.
The great thing is that these controls both work together for all of my needs.
To have a common engine for syntax highlighting on both my Windows Forms applications as
well as my ASP.NET web applications is indispensible.
It is amazing how much of a difference working with tools that provide syntax highlighting makes.
My applications feel much more professional and are more maintainable and scalable then
they ever could have been if I had tried implementing these things myself.
