We want to be able to do multiple save and load of layouts. A user can open some windows and save that as a layout and then open some more windows and save it under different name.

The problem is suppose you save a layout which has two windows inside a rafting host (docked side by side) and then you load another layout the previous setup of rafting host is removed and the tool windows are not docked side by side.

We started this on trial as we observed this issue with our licensed copy of 2012.

Is there a way to keep the existing tool windows/rafting hosts layout undisturbed while loading different layout?

I would like to attach sample program to demonstrate what we are expecting to know if there is problem in the way we are using the control, but not sure where to attach.

Hello,

A tool window layout deserialization will completely replace the tool windows that are currently open.  Unfortunately it doesn't support "merging" of tool windows into an existing run-time layout, which it seems like you are trying to achieve.

If you ever need to send us a sample, please write our support email address and attach it there.  Be sure to rename the .zip file extension so it doesn't get spam blocked.  But in this case, the merging feature isn't a support scenario so a sample isn't really necessary.
