The docs say that the Python addon uses 4 spaces for the first indent and 2 spaces for further indentation when applying smart indentation.

Is there a way to change this through an option setting so that each level is 4 spaces (or some other value I decide on)?

Thanks.

Hi Bob,

I don't believe we have anything that says we do 2 spaces for further indentation.  Where did you see that?

All indentation in SyntaxEditor is consistent based on the document's TabSize and AutoConvertTabsToSpaces settings.  If you check out the "Getting Started" topic for the Python Language Add-on in the documentation, there is a section about tab settings.  That explains how this all works.
