XML files larger than 380K crashes the app - Code Writer App Suggestions and Support Forum

Version: 2.5.16

This is what I wrote in the Store review:

* UPDATE 01.02.2017 : Loving it less now - XMLs the size 380k or larger cause the editor to crash ! Three stars -please update!

Love it .. worth four stars. Five stars to make it more Windows 10/Tablet friendly.

Please fix this one. Your app is brilliant, but if it can't load larger files, it's useless.

Hi Andre,

Thank you for the feedback. My guess is that you ran into an out of memory exception in that scenario. Perhaps we can do something in the future to turn off features if the document size reaches a certain threshold.

BTW, we have started on a Windows 10 rewrite. Please visit @CodeWriterApp on Twitter for some screenshots and to give feedback on it.
