IsChecked change on click

In RibbonControls.Button:

Is there a property that we can set similar to CheckOnClick on MenuItem in .net.
The idea is not to create an execute command and in it change the IsChecked Property manually.

Plus then we can bind to the IsChecked property (which for now doesn't work)

Thanks.

Hi Eli,

Sorry we don't have a property like that right now, but will add it to the TODO list. The reason it isn't in there now is that since buttons can be cloned to the QAT, it wouldn't generally make sense to auto-check via a single instance since then a button in the ribbon could be out of sync with the check state of a cloned button in the QAT.

Cool thanks.
I support adding it to the TODO List, I am sure you guys will find a workaround :)

By the way any sign in releasing version 5 of the studio anytime soon?
Did you improve the non-smooth functioning DateTimePicker in that version?

Hi Eli,

Yes, we hope to have it out tonight or tomorrow if things go ok.

The Editors for WPF has a new implementation of a DateTimeEditBox that includes a new MonthCalendar as well. The DateTimeEditBox is part-based and allows up/down keys for selecting month, day, etc. The MonthCalendar functions just like the Vista calendar and has some nice animations.
