Hi,
In our application, we are using Actipro ribbon controls. Currently we are aiming in extending our application and helping the visually impaired users to use JAWS(v11) and access our application. JAWS is able to read out our application except for Actipro ribbon controls. Can you please let me know whether we have any pre-requisite for achieving this? Can JAWS be used to read Actipro contents?

Hi John,

I believe you meant to post this in the Ribbon for WPF forum. Regardless, I tested the Document Editor demo using JAWS (version 11) and it properly read the Ribbon controls when the Ribbon actually has focus (just like in Microsoft Word 2007). There are some differences, but in either case you need to press Alt to "focus" the Ribbon so that JAWS will read it.

Is there something else you were refering to, or can you please better explain what is happening versus what you expect to happen?
