ToolWindow transparency/opacity - Docking/MDI for WPF Forum

Version: 10.2.0531

Hi everyone,

How could I achieve the tool window transparency effect that is present when dragging a tool window at other times? I would like to set the opacity of the tool window background depending on user settings. Is that functionality even exposed?

Hello,

If you are using non-hosted rafting windows (the default except when in XBAP), then that is not currently possible. If you are using hosted rafting windows, then you could probably set the Opacity of the parent RaftingWindowControl.
