Hello,

This problem can be seen with the included demo. Launch the Bar part and push the Alt key. The menu is activated. If you press Alt again, the focus goes back to the editor - excellent! However, if you pick an item, e.g. by pressing the Arrow down key, you are now a bit more stuck. You can press the escape key, but you have to press it twice, to return the focus to the actual application. You can also press the Alt key, but unfortunately it's not enough, despite the fact that pressing the Alt key, even though you are within the menu, is enough in most other Windows applications. I would really like that pressing either the Escape or the Alt key ONCE would be enough to close the menu and return focus to the last used control. Could this please be changed in the next release? :)

Hi Kasper,

There was a bug with the Alt key not always properly closing out properly and opening the Form's default menu when an arrow key was pressed. This has been fixed for the next maintenance release.

However Escape is acting as designed and mimics Visual Studio. With Escape it will only close out one menu level. So if a popup is open it will return focus to the main menu bar. Then you press Escape again to go back to your document.
