I am new to Spider Writer 4 - I am having problems finding how to select / change background color - this must be very obvious to regular users - please help.

Switch to Source view and modify the BGColor attribute of the BODY tag. You can do this in the Attributes window to make it easier.

Thank you for your prompt reply to my Backgroung color problem.

Can Background color be selected / changed in Design view?

If not could I have more detail about how to go about selecting a color background in Source View.

Background color can't be changed in Design view right now.

When in Source view, click to more the cursor within the BODY tag in the editor. The press F4 (I think that worked in version 4) to display the Attributes sidebar. The Attributes sidebar should contain all of the attributes for the BODY tag. Just select the button on the BGColor attribute and you can modify the color via a helper window.
