Hey everyone, our menu/toolbar design for UIStudio is progressing nicely. We still have numerous areas that need work but there are other areas that are fairly complete.

Since there are so many existing competive products out there that handle menu/toolbars, we're trying to take a slightly different approach and hit a niche. The niche will be that the product is designed to accommodate large applications with lots of commands, such as applications like Word, VS.NET, etc. We handle this by providing a command / command link type of model where commands are created one time and each command instance in the UI is a command link. The other details, we're going to keep private for now.

In any case, we'd love to do some design discussions with those customers who are willing to spend some time talking with us (via email/chats), investigating the beta product, and providing ideas on what can be improved and what is missing. Of course the ideal people to assist are those who would be using it in an application of their own.

If you are interested in helping, please send us an email. We are NOT looking for people who will simply want to download the beta and then never have time to give us feedback. One benefit of helping out at this stage is that you will end up with a product that has been tailored to your needs, based on your feedback and assistance.

Thanks!
