Hi,

looks like a lot is happening for v4 release. Will it be dotnet 2.0 only and when is a realistic release date ?

Cheers

Troy

Yes there certainly are a lot of things going on for v4.0. There will be some major improvements. It will still be several months out because of how huge our TODO list is and we are trying to knock out most of the items on it for v4.0.

We are still planning on supporting the 1.x frameworks, even with SyntaxEditor 4.0. One thing we maybe doing in the future is moving our projects to 2.0 projects and compiling them for both 2.0 and 1.1 assemblies. We would still have to keep separate 1.1 and 2.0 sample projects as well. The tool that would allow us to compile for both frameworks is still in development and doesn't appear like it will support the 1.0 framework so that's why we would be moving to making 1.1 the minimum framework for our products if we go that route.
