Is it possible or will it be on the next release of SyntaxEditor to do Block Selection.

Yes v4.0 already has the code written to support block selection.

It's our top priority however since we're doing so many complicated changes and enhancements, it's taking a little bit longer than we thought it would. A beta will still be several weeks out.
