Hi,

Does Syntax Editor support bitmap fonts (.fon not .ttf)?

I'm trying to use this font for a customer:

Hi Matthew,

We've only designed and tested SyntaxEditor with .TTF fonts. You can always try this custom .FON font out to see if it paints correctly or not in SyntaxEditor, as long as you can assign it to a Font object.

Yeh - tried that already - it just defaults to MS Sans Serif.

No probs, thanks for replying.

We had the same issue. A programmer font is a natural mate for Syntax Editor.

Fortunately there are plenty of TTF versions of that sort of font if you search around the web. You might like the Microsoft True Type font that's for programming called Consolas. It's even optimized for ClearType:

David,

Thanks for that - yeh that Consolas font is awesome - actually using that myself in VS.

I'll check with the user if we can use another variation.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.1) was released 3 months ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
