Is there a way to reduce the height of the ribbon to half of the default value? I do not need the big ribbon buttons and they occupied too much height and I do need to show the botton all the time so minimized is not working for me.

Hi Richard,
Sorry but the ribbon is designed to be at a certain height. Doing otherwise will violate the ribbon UI licensing terms that are required by Microsoft.
If you want smaller buttons then using a normal ToolBar would probably be a better option.
