Hello,

on behalf of one of our customers I would like to know if any of Actipro's WPF Studio components is catching keyboard events on a system level.

Background of my question:

we are experiencing very bad performance when running on Lenovo laptops with Intel 81x onboard graphics, when Intel's Hotkey Command Module (hkcmd.exe) process is active. This may indicate something like conflicting interrupt handlers, so we would like to know if Actipro components might be involved.

Best regards,

  D. Peters

Hi Detlef,

Ribbon does watch for key presses (but all via native WPF code) since it needs to know when various hotkey sequences are pressed.  But I don't believe anything else does.
