I'm looking for a way to override the tooltip text displayed when hovering over the pin/unpin buttons on the recent documents menu - is there a simple way to achieve this?

Hi Paul,
Yes all of the UI string in our products are string resources. We have documentation on the string resources and there is a tool in the Sample Browser that lets you generate code you can put in your app startup to alter them.
The ones for this are in the Ribbon product and are named UIRecentDocumentPinButtonPinToolTip and UIRecentDocumentPinButtonUnpinToolTip.
