Always indentation buttons are off

or which is the best way indet?

Hello, the indent/outdent buttons should always be enabled and on.  However the format document and format selection buttons only work on XML and XAML documents at this time.

Which of those buttons are you referring to?

Yes, that feature is only supported for XML and XAML right now.  At the end of the Help screen, the various file type features are listed.  If a file type lists "text formatting" then those gallery buttons will be enabled while editing documents of that type.
