I am working on automated testing but the problem is that
the software which I am testing is using actipros content
to draw menus and all. And these actipro content dont have
control name so could you tell me why it is so?

Arish,

Any chance you're using Mercury's QuickTest Professional to do the software automation? I work extensively with the Mercury suite of tools and could possibly help Actipro provide a solution that would help.

Actually I am not using mercury tools.
I am working on the devlopment of a GUI testing tool and
I am using few of the dlls of ranorex. Now the problem is that
I am able to detect all the menu tools which are not docakable
using spy but these dockable tool are creating the problem.Could
you tell me what is the reasion?

I'm not familiar with the Ranorex DLLs, so I won't be able to help you there. With respect to Actipro's role in this, there's only so much a vendor can do to help with automation. My experience is that it's mostly up to the automator to figure out a way to make the automation work with what they have.
