Is shortcut mode as same as application mode?

And in default Global mode, all matched shortcuts will be captured by BarManager first. Right?

If I want to use the same shortcut, like "Ctrl+A", in different context and for different usage, I have to use mode, don't I?

Thx.

Yes that is correct, the shortcut's mode refers to the application mode.

Yes, BarManager captures keystrokes first. Therefore for shortcut keys like Ctrl+A, you should disable your shortcut. This allows the key to be displayed in menus but it won't intercept the key.

Yes, using modes is a good way to do that.
