With Cyrillic (Windows) character encoding (Codepage 1251) I can see only question marks instead of chars.

Can't add screenshot, there are no such option.

Hello, can you post a link to a sample file that we can open to see the problem?

Thanks for emailing the sample file.  What we've found so far is that by using .NET's encoding auto-detection for reading the file, it doesn't properly convert the Cyrillic characters to UTF-8.  If we use an alternate method of reading the file using a specific Encoding (in this case 1251), it does load the characters properly.

What we will do for the next version is if we can detect that the UTF-8 didn't load properly and if you have set an ANSI encoding in the default character encoding option (in Editor Settings), we will fall back to use that.  This will allow you to set Cyrillic as the default encoding in settings and then when you open this file, it will end up opening with that encoding properly.
