RecentDocumentMenu Howto add a Delete button?

Hi,

I've got a working RecentDocumentMenu hooked up to a DocumentManager instance. Adding, updating and pinning all work fine.

What I can't figure out is how to have my users remove items from the list. "All" I need is an extra button between the "document button" and the "pin button". When I create my own datatemplate for shared:IDocumentReference I lose the pin and load functionality defined in the default. I've got a simple license so no access to the defined styles.

Anyone?
