First Popup of BarPopup in MenuBar Flashes in Vista - Bars for Windows Forms Forum

Version: 2.0.91

Platform: .NET 2.0

Environment: Windows XP (32-bit)

A bit of a minor issue, but using Vista Home Premium, each time a BarPopup in the MenuBar is clicked for the first time successively (anytime the menuBar loses input focus), the menu seems to flash/flicker once quickly during popup.

This happens consistently and does not appear to happen with Windows XP.

I've also experience this issue with Vista. I'm using Vista Ultimate 64-bit and did not have this issue with XP.

For some reason the popup animations are causing the flicker in Vista. We'll try and look into this but in the meantime if you disable popup animations on the BarManager then it will work without a flicker.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.1) was released 7 months ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
