I love this editor. I edit on Windows 10 platform but move my Python and shell script code to Linux. Is there an option to turn off Windows ^M at end of line. I know there is a utility in linux to remove these (tofrodos) but still would like to know please.

Hi Wayne,

Yes, in the Settings pane you can change the "Line Ends" setting to Unix.  That will become the default for new documents.

The statusbar also has an indicator that tells you the current document's line end and you can change it by clicking that, but that will only affect the current document.

Thanks a lot!! Makes a great editor even better. I used to use Sublime, Atom, Jetbrains etc, now my go to editor is Code Writer on Windows platform. I wish it was on Linux too.

The latest build of this product (v4.2.42) was released 3 years ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
