Suggestion: Drag and drop files?

Hi Folks,

Does the Windows App framework allow dragging and dropping of files onto an App?  If so, I'd love to be able to drag and drop one or more files onto an open instance of Code Writer.

Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion, we'll write it down.  I believe that functionality was added in more recent Universal Windows Platform releases.  We are currently working on massive updates for the core editing control used in Code Writer and adding text drag/drop within that is part of the updates.

Hi Larry,

In the SyntaxEditor vNext code updates we've completed thus far, we've added drag and drop of text within the editor control.  SyntaxEditor is the control used in the Code Writer app for the editing portion.  It may still be several months yet though before this major new SyntaxEditor version is ready to integrate into Code Writer though.
