Some command key binds don't seem to be working as I expect

In the editor, by default, some control keys work and others don't seem to. Ctrl-A does select all. Ctrl-C does copy the selected text to the clipbord.

However, Ctrl-Z does not appear to undo and Ctrl-V does not appear to paste. The default context menu has commands that do work. What do I need to do to enable these keystrokes?
