Hi!

Could you tell me the max character number in a single physical/visual line on the Actipro SyntaxEditor?

Also, I would like to know the max line number on the editor.

If the Actipro WPF Studio Documentation has those information, could you tell me where I can find them, please?

Thank you.

Hello,

I don't believe there is a max character or line number in the latest version of the editor.

Thank you for your reply.

I have found out that I told you the wrong version of the editor.

I am using 18.1.676.0. I am sorry for telling you the wrong version.

I would appreciate it if you would tell me the max character number and the max line number in this version.

Thank you.

Hello,

Prior to the 2019.1 updates, I believe there was no max line number or char number, but word wrap was forced at pixel 3578000, since that was around the longest single text run that WPF could render.  In the 2019.1 update, we broke things up so that we can do multiple text runs per line and thus don't hit that limitation.

Thank you very much for giving me the details.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.3) was released 1 month ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
