Good morning,

Is it possibile to change the default behaviour for when "enter" is pressed in the EditorSearchView search text box?

I'd like "Find All" to be executed instead on "Find Next" but I didn't find any option or configuration.

Thanks

Hi Davide,

I'm sorry but the "Enter" keyboard shortcut is hard-coded to Find Next and the "Shift+Enter" keyboard shortcut is hard-coded to Find previous.  Similar with replace functionality when you press "Enter" and "Shift+Enter" when the replace with textbox has focus.

May I ask why you would prefer to have Find All functionality for Enter?

Thanks for the answer.

Im not sure, my boss asked for it. I guess our customers use Find All more then Find Next.

Hi Davide,

Instead of altering the expected current search mechanisms, we will update the search views so that "Ctrl+Enter" works as Find All if focus is in the Find box and you have IsFindAllButtonVisible set as true.  This update will be in the next maintenance release.
