App crash when adding custom extensions - Code Writer App Suggestions and Support Forum

Version: 3.3.29

In Settings -> File Types -> add custom extension, when clicking + code writer immediately crashes. This occurs for all file types, and it does not matter if the field is blank or has a valid entry.

Hi Michael,

Yes, thanks for reporting this. We already have it fixed but haven't had a chance to release an updated build yet. We'll try and get that out soon.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm running version 4.1 build 39. Has the updated build been released yet? If not, any idea when it might be? It would be useful as otherwise I think it's difficult to associate non-standard file extensions (specifically I want to add .ss as a Javascript file extension).

Hi Richard,

I'm sorry but we haven't gotten a new build pushed out yet. I'll know that getting this bug fix out is important and will bump the priority on that.

The latest build of this product (v4.2.42) was released 3 years ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
