so i went to code writer version 4.1 build 39 and i started to type some words in C# but then soon the typing cursor (the on that shows when typing words) became thicker

The editor caret should generally be a thin vertical line, unless you press Ins to enter overwrite mode. In that case, it will be a rectangle that covers the current character. If you are seeing differently perhaps you could send us a screenshot of what you mean. Thanks!
