Conceptually, events and commands are very different and there wouldn't exactly be a conversion path. For questions like this that relate more to .NET programming in general than to our control suite, I would encourage you to utilize less specialized platforms like Stack Overflow. They have a strong community of contributors on many topics, including .NET and WPF.
