Display of tab char - SyntaxEditor for Windows Forms Forum

I noticed that when WhitespaceTabsVisible is true, that the display of tabs fill the entire tab area. Meaning that the arrow is the same length in characters as the tab (e.g. 4 characters). But this differs from VS which only displays the arrow for the length of 1 character, regardless of how many chars the tab covers.

Is there a way to get the VS look? When the arrow covers all the characters, it looks more "busy" or "cluttered" to me.

Hi Thomas,

Sorry but right now the drawing of the tabs is fixed. If I recall correctly VS 2002 drew them the way we do but they must have changed since. I will add this to the TODO list for you.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.1) was released 1 month ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
