Double-click word selection - SyntaxEditor for Windows Forms Forum

I finally just realized what feels so wrong about it. The selection occurs after the mouse comes up on the second click. It should occur in the mouse down of the second click. Even as I double-click here while editing this message, it occurs in the mouse down.

Any chance of getting this behavior changed?

The problem here is that .NET only fires the double-click event after the second mouse up. We have on our TODO list an item to make our own sort of double-click mechanism that works on the mouse down.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.0) was released 2 months ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
