TreeDataGrid theme?

Yes, TreeDataGrid is something we plan to support. Since the project is currently listed as "early beta", though, we were hesitant to add support until it reached maturity.  The Avalonia development team may still be adjusting some of its control themes so we probably will hold off a little longer before working on it.

any plans for this? TreeDataGrid seems to be stable ...

After checking with the Avalonia team, it sounds like that TreeDataGrid control is still in a tentative state and will possibly be moving to their Accelerate offering in the future.  We will probably hold off for now.  That being said, you can use any of our brush resources to make a custom control theme for the current TreeDataControl control that matches the look of our other controls.  Since you are an Actipro Avalonia Pro customer, you can download our control themes and can use those as a reference for which brushes to use where.

Just adding my +1, this is the reason I came to the forum, to find out whether the TreeDataGrid is part of the styled built in components. It's an essential control for us.

We are still deciding on Avalonia, may use the WPF Grid product instead

Thank you for the feedback.  I assume you are considering the Avalonia Accelerate version of the TreeDataGrid right now if you go with Avalonia?  We have a suggestion logged to look into adding theme support for that, and can tie your request for it with the suggestion as well.

Just a plus one from me in case you are still considering this! I am using Avalonia Accelerate and making heavy use of the TreeDataGrid now, with everything else in the app already themed by Actipro.

Good news, our v26.1 release will have a feature that can update the theme resource brushes used by the Avalonia Accelerate TreeDataGrid, Markdown, and Keyboard controls to use Actipro brushes.  That should allow them to render more consistently with our themes.  It will be a feature for Pro license customers.

Trying Avalonia 12 with the updated TreeDataGrid now but having some trouble with applying Actipro theme. Is this included now? We did have a custom override but would prefer to use standard Actipro theme to match the rest of our controls if possible. Do we need to do anything extra to enable this?

We don't have the v26.1 docs published on our web site yet since it's prerelease but you can see the latest in our public GitHub repo.  This topic talks about how to enable our brush overrides for AvaloniaUI OÜ's Avalonia Pro controls like TreeDataGrid.
