Hi,

I know that you have looked into supporting LSP (Language Server Protocol) here. Since that was 18 months ago, I would like to check if there has been any progress.

We have our own language that comes with LSP support and VS Code integration. It would be great if we could integrate that with little effort into the WPF SyntaxEditor. And I guess that would also improve the C# and Python support.

Best regards, Tobias Lingemann.

Hi Tobias,

We had started looking into it back then but had to pause when we moved onto some other things.  We are currently working on SyntaxEditor refactoring and improvements.  Revisiting LSP is one of the things on our TODO list for that, but I don't have a timeframe for it at this time since we are addressing some higher-priority feature areas first, such as original line terminator preservation features.  I will log your request for LSP support with the related TODO item.
