DigitalGauge works great for a single line of text.

It would be useful to have a control able to simulate the look of the common LCD Graphics Displays which would allow for variable size Text in the display.

Hi Neil,

Thanks for the suggestion, we're glad to hear DigitalGauge has been working well for you.

What you're describing sounds like a more specialized use case, potentially involving multiple lines of text or dynamically sized glyphs to simulate a full graphic LCD. At the moment, the built‑in DigitalGauge is designed around a single‑line, fixed‑style readout, and expanding it into a more free‑form graphics display would require a fairly significant redesign.

If you need deeper customization, one option would be to use our Blueprint source code. That would allow you to derive your own classes from ours and extend the rendering logic to support the additional layout or multi‑line behaviors you have in mind.
