We are currently using Syntax Editor and the .NET Languages Add-on; however, we would find it very useful to use both the C# and VB.NET parsers completely independently of the editor. The problem is there is a dependency on the Syntax Editor assemblies. We have some 'system' assemblies (i.e. not bound to S.W.Forms.dll, etc) that would need to interact with these components to validate user code.

If we purchase a Blueprint license, can we re-use the parser separately?

Cheers,

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

Well SyntaxLanguage is located in the SyntaxEditor assembly along with AstNodeBase, etc. So unfortunately I don't believe there's a way to remove that dependency.
