Third Level App Menu Styling

If you try to do a three level app menu, it is has the large app menu styling, when it should look more like a context menu.

To see what it should probably look like see Word's App Menu->Prepare->Restrict Permission's submenu.

I'm probably not going to be doing my menu like this, I decided on a different design, but I figured you'd still like to know about it. Is there maybe an attribute that can be set to get the other style?
