Version: 4.0.0271

How can I set the SyntaxEditor background image ?
I've tried via the BackgroundImage property, with no results.

SyntaxEditor draws itself using a SyntaxEditorRenderer class. The VisualStudio2005SyntaxEditorRenderer class has a BackgroundFill for the text area which does let you create an image fill if you wish however due to scrolling optimization, it will not work correctly at run-time when the editor is scrolled. Only solid color background fills are recommended for the text area.
