Why doesn't microsoft use your control

Wouldn't it make more sense if microsoft used your control and worked with you to extend it to provide all features required of each VS NET edition.

You are obviousy trying to emulate and catch up on all their features. This would save you both a lot of work.

Perhaps wishful thinking though :)

Well I doubt that will ever happen since we are a completely separate entity from Microsoft, and they aren't going to share prioprietary code secrets with a third party company.

That being said, we have entered a deal with Microsoft where they are going to be using SyntaxEditor in future versions of Expression Blend, as the code editor there. So we're excited about that.
