Vista Licensing exception - Docking/MDI for Windows Forms Forum

I copied license over to our build machine (as you instructed me earlier). The build goes with no errors but the application doesn't work on Vista. It does on XP.

Here is the error I get:

"No licensing information was found in the assembly that calls the component."

Any suggestions?

I'm on version 2.0.0099, shared 1.0.0095.

Hi Ernst,

Please always contact us via e-mail to help with licensing issues.

But I would recommend that you use our installer with nearly all the options turned off (samples, docs, GAC, etc.) when installing on build machines. This will still copy license data to the right spot and will only copy the .dll's to the Program Files folder for the product.
