Hi,

By default the fontsize of the ribbonbar group label is smaller than the one in MS Office used. It does not look so smooth as in office.

Is this on purpose?
I would like to follow the MS Office guidelines when possible.

Hi Willie,

We run Vista with Aero on and they look about the same. It is the same font (Segoe UI) and same font height. There are a couple subtle differences though. WPF draws characters slightly closer together than Office does. Also WPF does some anti-aliasing of text whereas Office's text is clearer. The anti-aliasing is supposed to be improved by Microsoft in .NET 4.0.

If you are talking about a different O/S or system theme, let us know.

I am working on vista with aero too.

The difference lays in the character spacing used by Microsoft.
This makes the whole text much more readable than it is now.
You are right with the font smoothing, this is really a pain in the ....

Willie.
