how to control ToolWindow Dock tab positions - Docking/MDI for WPF Forum

Version: 4.5.0486

HI,

I am trying to put my all ToolWindow in Different ToolWindow Containers as I need to organise Each with Split container

in Dock state (AutoHide) they apear on Left side of the dock site and in order like Toolwindow1 ... ToolWindow2... ToolWindow3...

but now if pin(Fix) one of window and again Auto Hide that window than the Order is changed the last window to autohide come last....

as Example of Above if I Pin(fix) ToolWindow2 and again Hide (AutoHide) ToolWindow2 than order Becomes

ToolWindow1... ToolWindow3... ToolWindow2...

how can I preserve that Order without making tham into single ToolWindow Container

Hi Pratik,

We're glad you like our product. Unfortunately nothing stores the order that the containers appear in the auto-hide. I believe when a docked container gets added to auto-hide, it just goes to the last position in the auto-hide side. This should be how Visual studio works too.
