Menu flicker on Windows 7 - Bars for Windows Forms Forum

Version: 2.0.0107

Platform: .NET 3.5

Environment: Windows 7 (32-bit)

When I click on the File menu in Bar C# sample application, the menu is shown, then hidden and reshown - resulting in annoying flickering. This happens to all menus, e.g. chevron/dropdown button menus.
I'm using the latest build of UI Studio, VS 2008 SP1 and Windows 7 RC.

Set barManager.PopupAnimation = BarPopupAnimation.None. That should resolve it. We're going to make this the default going forward (instead of Fade) since we've been unable to resolve that flicker so far in Vista/7.

The latest build of this product (v24.1.1) was released 3 months ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
