Edit Action on Block Selection

Hi

In the Edit Actions Sample, I found the SelectBlock... functionality. At the moment, it seems only to be possible to copy or delete the block content, but not to paste or edit within the selection.
Is it - or will it be - possible to perform edit actions on block selection?

E.g. in the folowing sample, if I want to change all the "L+EDGE" to "L-EDGE", I would like to select a rectangular block over the four "+" and then type once a "-".
  RIM C 45 X 15 L+EDGE+4;
  RIM C 50 X 15 L+EDGE+4;
  RIM C 55 X 15 L+EDGE+4;
  RIM C 60 X 15 L+EDGE+4;
Thanks...
samivel.

Hi,

Sorry multi-line typing isn't yet supported. I'll add your feature request to our TODO list.

Pasting of text copied from a block selection currently does paste in block format though.

Hi.

I would like to know if there are plans to add the multi-line typing support when using block selection (e.g., to mimic Visual Studio Alt+selection+editing behavior) as mentioned earlier in this thread.  Using version 13.1.0581.

Please advise if I've overlooked this feature or if any questions.

Thank you!

Hi Rich,

We have a TODO item for it but haven't looked into it as of yet.

Thumbs up!

The latest build of this product (v24.1.1) was released 2 months ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
