We are in the process of evaluating Dotfuscator. After several hours of merely getting the app to display the main window, I have noticed many SecurityExceptions in the Output window. I discovered one of those is "Requested registry access is not allowed" raised by ComponentModel.LicenseManager. DockingLicenseToken is mentioned in one of the variables.

Since things work properly without obfuscation, do you have an idea what could be the cause of this?

Let me emphasize that this is all with ActiPro trial version.

Thanks!

If the licensing info is not embedded in your app (which is what happens when you purchase the product), it will hit the registry to see if you have an evaluation license there. So that should go away if you purchase the product, which I believe you just did earlier today. :)
