We have a TODO item to enhance the BrushEditBox to support gradient brushes as well, but that hasn't been done yet.
In our Sample Browser project we have a BrushPopupButton.cs that requires a couple extra classes also in the project but it does support gradient configuration. Perhaps you can use that.
