Morning,

After selecting and copying (ctrl-C) some text in the syntaxeditor, e.g. in the Sample Browser,to the clipboard, somethings are not right.

Pasting into some application, e.g. IE9 using hotmail, will give an exception in that application. Previous versions of Outlook, before 2010, seem te have the same paste problem. i tried ompiling with platform Any Cpu and 86x, both ways show the same problem.

Any ideas?

Hi Martin,

Can you give more detailed steps on exactly how to reproduce what you are describing? Also are you talking about the Windows Sample Browser or the XBAP on our site?

Sure:

1. Start your Sample Browser and start one of the code sample of the syntax editor.
2. select a text part and press ctrl-C
3. goto to ur hotmail e.g. and make a new message.
4. try to paste the text inside there

BTW, i used a Clipboard Spy, but could'nt see any problem.

Hi Martin,

Thanks, we narrowed down what it was. There was a minor bug in our RTF export output, which apparently causes IE to crash when it's pasted into an IE WYSIWYG editor. We've fixed it for the next maintenance release.

In the meantime, you can turn off RTF clipboard copy by setting SyntaxEditor.CanCutCopyDragWithRtf to false.
