Column guide priority

I'm sorry but column guides will always render behind. Perhaps you would want to use a semi-transparent background for your span indicators instead of a solid background. Then you'd still be able to see where the column guides are.

Thank you for the response. We tried creating span indicators using transparent colors but the column guide is always hidden. Can you give an example of span indicator with transparent background.

Sorry, now that I look into it further it looks like the semi-transparent span indicators blend their backgrounds with the text style backgrounds and that result renders opaquely onto the text area. So it will block out column guides. There isn't a way around that at this time.
