OK, I was browsing for images, and clicked on my "Celebs" folder. Stupidly, I chose "Load from local files sidebar" in the thumbnail viewer. I say stupidly, because there is more than 1100 images in that folder, and its sub-folders. SpiderWriter certainly did its job of caching, but after about 900 images, I ran out of RAM, and the system froze. AFAIK, there is no way to stop the caching. If it's as simple s switching to a new folder, then by then it was too late as my system has slowed to a crawl. <IMG SRC="frown.gif" border="0">
